Most salons treat cats as small dogs. They are not. Cats stress faster, tolerate restraint poorly, and need shorter, quieter sessions. At Miou and Wuff we groom cats at both our Ahmedabad stores — Sindhubhavan Road and South Bopal — with low-restraint handling, quieter dryers, sanitised tools and fresh towels for every single cat. If your cat has had a bad grooming experience before, tell us at booking and we will pace the session around it.
Book any service on its own, or combine them into a full groom.
Cat-safe shampoo, a warm bath and a low-noise blow dry, paced entirely around your cat rather than the clock.
Undercoat removal that cuts loose hair around the house and, more importantly, reduces hairballs your cat would otherwise swallow.
Careful de-matting for long-haired coats. Where mats sit tight against the skin, clipping is safer than pulling — we will show you and explain before starting.
A short, low-stress visit. Ideal if your cat will not tolerate a full groom but still needs claws and ears managed.
Hygiene trim around the rear and paw pads — particularly useful for long-coated and senior cats.
A full body clip for heavily matted or heat-stressed long-haired cats. Offered on assessment, never by default.
These add-ons are priced the same for cats and dogs, and can be booked on their own as a short visit. A full cat groom is quoted after we see the coat — cost depends on coat length and how much matting there is, not on your cat's weight.
Send us your cat's breed, coat length and whether there is any matting, and we will come back with a price and a realistic session length.
A rough guide by coat type. Cats that have stopped self-grooming should be seen sooner, whatever their breed.

| Maine Coon, Ragdoll | Every 6–8 weeks | De-shedding, bath & blow dry |
| Domestic short-hair | Every 8–12 weeks | Bath, brush-out, nails |
| Indian / Indie cat | Every 8–12 weeks | Bath & brush-out |
| Senior or overweight cat | Every 4–6 weeks | Sanitary trim, nails, gentle bath |
| Any cat with matting | As soon as possible | Assessment, de-matting or clip |
Miou and Wuff grooms cats at both its Ahmedabad stores — Sindhubhavan Road (Thaltej) and South Bopal. Sessions use calm, low-restraint handling with sanitised tools and fresh towels for every cat. Open 10am to 9pm, seven days a week.
Long-haired cats such as Persians and Himalayans benefit from professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks. Domestic short-hairs and Indian cats usually need it every 8 to 12 weeks. Cats that have stopped self-grooming should be seen sooner.
Cats self-groom, but they cannot manage undercoat, mats or nails alone. Professional grooming reduces hairballs and shedding, prevents painful matting, and often catches skin problems, lumps or parasites early — while you are still able to treat them cheaply.
It should not be. We let nervous cats acclimatise before starting, use quieter dryers and low-restraint handling, and keep sessions shorter than a dog groom. If a cat is genuinely distressed we stop and reschedule rather than push through.
Cat grooming at Miou and Wuff is priced by coat length, condition and the service chosen — a nail-and-ear visit costs far less than full de-matting. Get in touch through our contact page or call +91 70434 84281 with your cat's breed and coat for a quote.
Yes. Light mats can usually be brushed out. Tight or close-to-skin mats are safer to clip than to pull, so we may recommend a partial clip or lion cut. We will always assess and explain the options before starting.
Cats should be up to date on core vaccinations, including FVRCP. Please bring your vaccination card to the first appointment so we can keep both your cat and the other animals in the salon safe.
Use the contact form on our contact page, call +91 70434 84281, or walk into either the Sindhubhavan Road or South Bopal store. Tell us your cat's breed, coat length and temperament and we will book an appropriate slot.
